At Little Bird, we take direct inspiration from this well-loved proverb. We believe raising children is a collective effort—where friends, family, neighbors, teachers, and caregivers all play an important role in supporting one another through the journey of parenthood.
Located in Springfield Township, Little Bird is a place where children, parents, and teachers come together each day (Monday through Friday!) to play, create, learn, and discover—all while feeling safe, supported, and cared for.
Founded by a local mom of two, Little Bird is an independently owned and operated preschool created to meet the need for more high-quality childcare options in our community. From daily routines to big milestones, our goal is to provide a warm, supportive environment where children can thrive and families feel truly connected.
Learning at Little Bird happens through joyful, play-based experiences that spark curiosity and creativity. We use the Lillio Early Learning Curriculum, which is aligned with national early learning standards and formally accepted by Pennsylvania’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). This means our children are not only nurtured with care, but are also meeting—and often exceeding—important developmental milestones that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond!

A unique aesthetic developed to promote a welcoming, peaceful environment. The color pallet, dimmable lights, floor-plan and variety of super fun design elements were brought together so that each person (small OR big!) may feel as if LB is an extension of their own home, sweet home.
